Regardless of delivery method, labor and delivery can be hard on a woman’s body. It is helpful to get checked after labor for pelvic alignment and to alleviate stress on the soft tissues that have been stretched and stressed.

Postpartum musculoskeletal pain is incredibly common and can easily be addressed to decrease pain and improve mobility. Additionally, thoracic, or mid-back pain can be common as well, particularly if breastfeeding due to postural issues from being in a flexed forward position for long periods of time.
